Bean Bag Chairs for Autism
Luxe Loungers is proud to partner with Canucks Autism Network. At Luxe Loungers, we share a lot of the same core values with Canucks Autism Network. The people first approach is why we chose such a great organization to give back to. We believe in the work that they are doing. We have seen first hand how much our chairs bring enjoyment and calm to those on the spectrum.

Bean bag chairs have long been used for sensory integration with those on the autism spectrum. The weight of a bean bag chair can provide enough soothing deep pressure to relieve stress. Children on the spectrum can have difficulty knowing where their body is in relation to space. A bean bag chair provides just enough pressure for their body to feel supported. Bean bag chairs can also be used as crash pads because they can handle a little more activity for those that need the sensory input. Bean bag chairs are an adaptive piece of furniture. The shape and density of the bean bag chair can be adjusted for maximum comfort. This offers a feeling of security and sense of calm for those who need it most.
Luxe Loungers is giving 1% of sales to Canucks Autism Network. We aren’t stopping there! For every twenty chairs we sell we will be donating one chair to a person on the spectrum.

Canucks Autism Network (CAN) was founded in 2008 by Vancouver Canucks Co-owners, Paolo and Clara Aquilini, whose son has autism. - We believe that every individual on the spectrum and their family has the right to meaningful social connections.
- We believe that every autistic individual should be supported during important transitions into adulthood.
- We believe that every community should take action to include and support individuals on the spectrum.
